Hearing & Healing: What Your Emotions May Be Trying to Tell You
Many women have learned to ignore their emotions. We stay busy.
We stay strong.
We push through.
We stay strong.
We push through.
But emotions are not weaknesses to hide from.
They are often invitations.
Anxiety may reveal where we need peace.
Overwhelm may reveal where we need rest.
Loneliness may reveal a longing for connection.
Overwhelm may reveal where we need rest.
Loneliness may reveal a longing for connection.
Our emotions are not meant to separate us from God.
They can actually lead us toward Him.
Sometimes healing begins not by fixing ourselves…
but by slowing down enough to listen.
but by slowing down enough to listen.
God’s voice is often gentle.
Not condemning.
Not harsh.
Not demanding.
Not harsh.
Not demanding.
He speaks with kindness, wisdom, and peace.
And many times, His healing begins in the places we’ve avoided for years.
What if your emotions are not something to fear…
but something to bring into the light with God?
but something to bring into the light with God?
Gentle Reflection Questions
• What emotions have been trying to get my attention lately?
• What might God be gently wanting to heal in my heart?
• When have I sensed His comfort or peace before?

Healing rarely happens through pressure.
It grows slowly…
like roots deepening beneath the surface of a garden.
like roots deepening beneath the surface of a garden.
And often, the quiet work God does within us becomes the very thing that allows us to shine again.
🌿 I am preparing an experience called SHINE with the Light of Jesus: A Garden Journey created to help women reconnect with God, understand their emotions with grace, and experience gentle inner restoration.
