SHE HEARS HIS VOICE
Arise and SHINE: S is for Spirit Lead
Spirit Lead: When You’re Tired of Striving
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to slip into striving?
Trying harder.
 Figuring everything out.
Carrying the weight of everyone and everything.
Even as women of faith, we can quietly begin living from pressure instead of peace.
But God never asked us to force our way forward.
He invites us to be led.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come…” — Isaiah 60:1
There’s something beautiful about that verse.
The light has already come.
We don’t have to create it.
 Earn it.
Or prove ourselves worthy of it.
We simply learn to turn toward it.
Like a garden turning toward the sun, our hearts begin to flourish when we stay connected to God’s presence.
Being Spirit led doesn’t mean having every answer.
Sometimes it simply means:
 🌿 pausing before reacting
 🌿 choosing peace over pressure
🌿 trusting God with one small step at a time
For many women in the second half of life, this season becomes an invitation to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters.
Not performance.
 Presence.
Not striving.
 Surrender.
And often, the very place where we feel tired or uncertain becomes the place where God begins restoring us from the inside out.

Gentle Reflection Questions
• Where in my life have I been striving instead of allowing God to lead me?
 • What helps me feel most connected to God’s peace?
 • What would it look like to trust Him with my next small step?

You don’t need to force growth in a garden.
You simply create space for light, water, and nurture.
Your heart is no different.
