From the outside, it can feel quiet… even empty.
But beneath the surface, something sacred is happening.
Roots are forming.
Soil is being softened.
Old things are being gently cleared away to make space for new life.
This is where I’ve been.
In a hidden season with God—praying, listening, creating…
Not rushing the outcome, but tending the soil of something deeply meaningful.
And now, I’m beginning to see the first signs of life.
I’ve been preparing a space for you.
A place I’m calling The Garden of Hope 🌿
A place where your heart can breathe again.

Welcome to She Hears His Voice

A place to heal, hear His voice, and walk confidently in the light God is shining on your path.
I’m Donna—wife, mom, grandmother, and a lifelong learner of what it means to walk closely with God through every season of life.
This space grew from a deep desire to create something gentle… a place where women in the second half of life can pause, breathe, and begin to tend to the garden of their hearts.
Because somewhere along the way, many of us have carried more than we realized.
We’ve walked through seasons of joy and also moments of disappointment, loss, or confusion that quietly shaped how we see ourselves, how we feel, and even how we hear God.
🌿 Here in the Garden of Hope, we take a different approach.
We don’t rush growth.
We don’t ignore the weeds.
And we don’t strive to “fix” ourselves.
Instead, we gently explore what God may be revealing.

Becoming aware of the thoughts, emotions, and past experiences that have shaped our inner world.

Stepping forward with renewed trust, knowing God is guiding each step—even when the path unfolds slowly.

Along the way, I also share simple, nurturing ways to support your emotional journey—including the use of essential oils.
Just as a garden benefits from the right environment, our hearts can respond to small, sensory reminders of truth.
There are moments when we need comfort…
moments when we need clarity…
and moments when we need joy restored.
Sometimes I’ll share about oils that can support those spaces—like choosing the Oil of Joy in seasons where your heart has carried grief, or noticing the “weeds” of fear or heaviness that may be asking for gentle attention.
These are not quick fixes, but tools to help you slow down, notice, and invite God into what you’re feeling.
